Born in the Ohio Rust Belt, Jesse Kelly joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2000 and on 9/11, watched the towers fall from inside his barracks. He later deployed to Iraq as an infantry Marine during the Second Persian Gulf War and received an honorable discharge after four years.

In 2010, with no political experience to speak of but many opinions to share, Kelly ran for Congress in a Democratic-controlled district of Arizona. Ralph Lorigo was born on Buffalo’s East Side and initially attended St. Lucy’s Grammar School. The family moved to West Seneca and Ralph attended junior high and high school in the Town of West Seneca, where he continues to reside to the present day.

After high school, Ralph attended the University of Buffalo and then the University at Buffalo Law School where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in May of 1973. The law school honored Ralph with an award for the “Most Satisfactory Scholastic Progress in the field of Law” for is final year of law school.

Ralph took the New York State Bar exam in July of 1973 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in February of 1974. He has practiced law in the Town of West Seneca ever since.

In 1993, Ralph was selected to become a candiddate for the New York State Supreme Court. He has been a member of the New York State and Erie County Bar Associations throughout his career.

He has been active in his community on many levels. He has been a member of the West Seneca Lions Club for over 30 years; has been an instructor and advisor in the West Seneca and Cheektowaga Continuing Education Programs and has lectured on numerous occasions to such organizations as volunteer fire companies, New York State Retiring Teacher’s Association and numerous others.

Ralph also has a very strong interest in New York State and local politics. Since 1981, he has been involved in Conservative politics, first as West Seneca Town Conservative Chairman. Followed by that position, Ralph was appointed to the Erie County Executive Board in the 1980s. He then became Erie County Vice Chairman in 1991, followed by Erie County Conservative Chairman in 1995 – a position he still holds today. Recently, Ralph was honored by the New York State Conservative Party, appointing Ralph as a State Vice Chairman.

As the longest sitting County Chairman in Erie County, Ralph has formed many long-standing relationships with Town, County, and State governmental officials, as well as a strong involvement in judicial races throughout Erie County and the Eight Judicial District.

Ralph is married to the former Debbie Caruana for over 40 years and they have three children: Michael, Joseph, and Jaime. Michael received his undergraduate education degree at RIT and then received an MBA from Canisius College. Joseph graduated Summa Cum Laude from Canisius College and received joint degrees at the State University of New York at Buffalo from the UB School of Law and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the School of Business. Jaime attended Erie Community College in early childhood development.

Ralph’s legal office has always been in the Town of West Seneca where it is easily accessible directly off the Thruway (Interstate 90) or Route 219 and he is available for evening or weekend appointments.

Ralph has also been an entrepreneur, having built and sold 72 townhouses in the Town of West Seneca from 1988 through 1991; a prior owner of the Fitness Factor Health Club located in Southgate Plaza; owning substantial real estate holdings, both in Erie County and Ocala, Florida and is a Ben and Jerry’s franchisee with a location in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He has specialized in all aspects of real estate law, including zoning and real estate litigation. He has represented such clients as Benderson Development, Kulback’s Construction Company, Mobil Oil, Keybank, Marrano/Marc Equity, McDonald’s, and others in numerous zoning matters throughout Erie County.

Throughout his extensive law practice, Ralph has handled all kinds of legal matters, including family law, real estate law, estates, Medicaid, criminal law, personal injury, corporate law, business associations, and other matters. Today, Ralph’s office consists of six additional attorneys: Robert Vario, Mary Beth Aquiline, Robert Battista, Frank Jacobson, his son, Joesph Lorigo, adn Jon F. Minear. David DiPietro was elected to serve the constituents of the 147th Assembly District on November 6, 2012. DiPietro is the Ranking Minority member on the Small Business Committee and in 2020 was chosen Minority Whip. David’s district includes the southern portion of Erie County and all of Wyoming County.

DiPietro leads the charge for all 2nd Amendment protection issues and leads the fight to restore all Constitutional Freedoms. ABOUT TED

Ted, his wife Heidi, their two daughters Caroline and Catherine, and his entire family have been blessed to live the American Dream—the idea that anyone, through hard work and determination, can achieve anything. Ted is committed to ensuring every family has that same opportunity.

THE BEGINNING

Ted grew up in Texas. His father, Rafael, fled Cuba after being tortured and imprisoned and came to Texas with just $100 sewn into his underwear. Rafael got a job washing dishes making 50 cents an hour and learned English. He worked hard and attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in mathematics. He later started a small business in the oil and gas industry. Today, Rafael is a pastor in Dallas.

Ted’s mother, Eleanor, was born in Delaware to an Irish and Italian working-class family. She became the first in her family to go to college, graduating from Rice University with a degree in mathematics. She broke boundaries at Shell as one of the few women working as a computer programmer at the dawn of the computer age.

EDUCATION & EARLY CAREER

Ted earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton and his law degree from Harvard Law School. After law school, Ted clerked for Chief Justice Rehnquist and then worked in private practice. In 1999, Ted joined George W. Bush’s campaign for president as a domestic policy advisor. The best thing about Ted’s experience on the Bush-Cheney campaign, by far, was meeting Heidi Nelson, who also worked on the policy team. Heidi and Ted married after the campaign.

REPRESENTING TEXAS

After working at the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission during the Bush administration, Ted moved back home to be the Solicitor General of Texas. As Solicitor General, Ted argued eight cases before the Supreme Court of the United States, and defended our freedom of speech, our right to keep and bear arms, and our religious liberty in courts across the nation. Following his service as Solicitor General, Ted returned to private practice, where he continued to litigate high stakes cases and argued his ninth case before the Supreme Court. Ted and Heidi also started their family, welcoming Caroline and Catherine.

U.S. SENATOR FOR TEXAS

In 2013, Ted was sworn into the United States Senate, where he has been a passionate fighter for limited government, economic growth, and national security. He has authored dozens of legislative measures that have been signed into law, including expanding 529 college savings accounts to allow parents to save for K-12 public, private, and religious education, repealing Obamacare’s individual mandate, imposing sanctions on terrorists who use civilians as human shields, designating North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism, targeting Putin’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline through multiple bills that halted construction and kept it stalled, reauthorizing and reforming NASA, holding dictatorships in South America accountable, and ensuring the availability of additional records to help solve civil rights cold cases.

Erick, a Louisiana native raised in Dubai, began his career as a practicing attorney in Macon, Georgia, where he specialized in corporate law, estates, and elections. He volunteered for President Bush’s campaigns and consulted on federal, state, and local races. In 2005, Erick made a bold career shift, leaving his law practice to become a full-time blogger for RedState.com. Two years later, he was elected to Macon’s city council. In 2009, CNN hired him as a political contributor. The following year, after a local radio host in Macon was arrested, Erick unexpectedly filled in on-air for three months, eventually taking over a regular spot on WSB Radio in Atlanta in 2011. Over the years, Erick has guest-hosted for Neal Boortz, Herman Cain, Ben Shapiro and Rush Limbaugh.
